Richard Newell commenced his career in the dairy industry in 1982. Since then he has held posts in production, technical, commercial & engineering. Working for small artisan family run businesses right up to the largest fully automated businesses he has a wealth of experience on all aspects of cheese manufacture & sales. He has developed a cheese that is now sold in all of the major retailers and has previously advised major retailers on sourcing. He has project managed a significant dairy automation project at the turn of the millennium. He has also played a key role in training management from the smallest to the largest manufacturers on a diverse range of topics from "background to the industry", "basics of manufacture", right up to planning, forecasting and qualitative measurement.
